We advised a leading insurer in respect of a major claim relating to the 2021 floods in Belgium. We provided advice in relation to the potential intervention of the Belgium Intervention fund and the correct interpretation of Belgian rules regarding the breakdown of the financial obligations between State, insurers and reinsurers.
